Partiarch/matriarch

Just a little something that has bugged me for some time now... but within the kretches lair there is the cave of the spider patriarch.....
there is however only the female ashen spider in there...
If this is the case should it not be "Matriarch" instead, as this relates to a female whereas Patriarch relates to a male.

Interesting thought. Maybe there was a patriarch in the past, and the female spider has killed him.
