How do I decline the quest good for hire

I do not want to change over nor do I wish to lose any of my BOE rep
all I wish to do is decline this quest
I have read these three threads and I still can not figure It out

in my attributes it says "Good for Hire: Executioner's Mastery 45"
on my info page it says "Executioner 0"

Good for Hire
The Bloodthirsty Fanatic has long set his sights on the Brotherhood of Virtue relics - the sacred power of Lyran and the Endagar Amulet! It will not be easy to obtain the carefully guarded artefacts: Norak the Virtuous does not trust the Bringers of Evil. In order to trick the treasures away from the leader of the Brotherhood, Fanatic tells you about his cunning plan. You must pretend to repent and enter the Brotherhood to gain access to the sacred power. *If you want to reject the quest and regain your profession, complete the first stage of the task, abandoning the profession of Executioner. After that you can chose to reject further in the multiple stage of Conversation on completing task.*

Passed: Reject the Executioner's profession. When you are finished with the profession, speak with Fanatic.

As spoken in game - after your executioner was taken down to 0, resign it from professions tab. Then in further dialogue with Fanatic you will have 2 options:
No, I just wanted to find out if everything was still in order. I will soon bring you Saint Lyran's Relics and the Endagar Amulet from the Brotherhood's sanctuary. - Continue with the quest.
Yes, I have changed my mind. I don't want to hang out with the Brotherhood of Virtue, listening to complaints and prayers… I would also have to bless crowds of warriors – how deadly dull! - Resign the quest.

Your exe comes back after resignation.
