I like many others am becoming heartily sick of unprovoked attacks by certain memebers of the opposite race, who seem only intent on dishing out injuries that are both long in duration and high in wound lvl.
I get that this is a war game, as several have pointed out. But surely the emphasis should be equal on both words. Forgive me for saying it, but if a player (from any race), is being clearly tracked, killed, and then tracked and killed again should they decide to resurrect and heal themselves, then I'm sorry to say this is not just a question of scalping. Lets call it out for what it is. It is BULLYING, pure and simple. It would not be acceptable in our schools and work places, and neither is it acceptable here. It MUST STOP.
Some people have mentioned the use of the locator to help avoid the attacks. But this is next to useless. The individual concerned is in my locator but the only information I can get from it, is the number of blesses they are using. Since they are able to kill me easily, even without any buffs this is next to useless.
I am quite sure both races are equally sick of this. Quite simply, if this situation is allowed to continue, it will in my opinion ruin the game. Both races are sick of this, and yet nobody seems to want to take any action against it. That's not good enough admins, I'm sorry. Personally, I feel the worst offenders should be banned from the game. Bullying is not, and never will be acceptable. And yet at the same time, since the offenders are doing nothing against the rules, what can be done.
Why does nobody want to tackle this issue.

Well, I have had enough. Here are my suggestions.

Idea 1: Make it so scalps are only obtainable from battlefields.

OR
Idea 2: If a player has been "scalped" on their home territory, their scalp is deemed taken. As a consequence, said victim then becomes immune for scalping for a period of two weeks. http://warofdragons.com/artifact_info.php?gift_id=18779980. This does not necessarily make them immune from further attack, but repeated unprovoked attacks by the same individual, whether in collusion with others or not, are likely to be deemed as harrasement, and the guards should be given suitable powers to investigate, and in the most servere circumstances ban the offender from the game.

Idea 3: Similar to the above. If a player is subject to an unprovoked scalping on home soil, they automatically then become elliglible to purchase a special potion. Im going to call it a "proud to be bald" potion. There could be endless variations for this, but I would suggest that it combines the effects of an invisibility potion and the dragons horns blessings.
So once taken the user would be given temporary immunity from any enemy attack whilst on home soil. This would automatically be revoked, if user either joins a battlefield, or invades enemy territory. Duration of the immunity could be for example 12 hours, 1 day or two days, depending on the usual colour protocols. Cost would of course be similarly proportionate. Additionally, it could be made so that reapeated uses were not permitted. So perhaps one use a week, for example.
This would at least enable the victim time to gather some resources or finish certain quest or event stages without being hounded from the game. At the same time, because the potions use is limited to one use a week, those of the enemy race who are determined to wreak havoc, will at least have some opportunity. And dont forget.........you can only access this potion, once you have been scalped. So hopefully an acceptable compromise for all concerned. Admins make more money, players are not stopped from raiding or scalping, but the victims of these attacks are at least given a chance (should they wish) to carry out their normal regular game play, without fear of repeated attacks and severe wounding.

I actual fact, I play the game the way I WANT to play it. Just because I havent lvl up, or not been strong enough for your liking doesnt make me a bad player.
I am not prepared to use my money to play here unlike some. Yes that is my choice. And that is partly why I havent got futher than I have in terms of lvl and skills or achievements.
I could also buy a Bone crusher armour set, and kill a kroffdor in 5 seconds flat like many other players.
But I DONT wish too. I like my armour as it is. But I do accept that this is very limiting in terms of earning gold. Again.... MY CHOICE. I dont want to be like everybody else. But i do want to be able to enjoy the game my way, without some bully or bullys spoiling it for me.
Nor am I "stupid". I do know where the safe areas are. Equally I was merely pointing out that having sombody in your locator is not terribly helpful. So i know when that player is buffed. Thats all.

As for your point about not thinking of others, I am sorry but you are completely wrong. I'm not moaning or whingeing or boo hoo hoo. Perhaps you should read my comments again. You may not agree with my ideas, you may think they wont work. Perhaps not. But I havent seen ANYBODY else, trying to come up with some possible solutions.
And re your comments about bullying. Again, I think you are utterly wrong. And I find them hugely offensive.
