STAGE I - Portal to Snowy City Construction

During this stage, you can complete the starting quest (from Warlords Gidver and Damirus). This quest requires you to talk to the Air Mage in the Cave or Tower of War Mages.

After that 2 dialogue options become available by talking to the Air Mage - one where you can donate resources to obtain Winter Vision Potion, and another one where you can exchange Spirit of Winter for Snow Sphere.

In order to receive Winter Vision Potion, you will need one of the following resources: 10 Anemone, 10 Topaz, or 10 The Carbon Pike / 10 Diamond Salmon.


While under the effect of the Winter Vision Potion, you can obtain Spirit of Winter by hunting monsters of level no more than one below yours. The Spirits don't always drop, it's random. Can be done by killing monsters in Mystras.

5 Spirit of Winter can be exchanged for 1 Snow Sphere, which - when used in the Snowy City - will give you a set of Ice Elixirs for your level.


Please note: There is no way to get to the Snowy City in Stage I, and the spheres CANNOT be used in Stage I of the event.

STAGE II - Snowy City - One time quests

Portal to the Snowy City (one-time quest)
Warlord Gidver / Warlord Damirus

Go to Demonologists Berrush / I-Vidi, they will give you 5 sphere - talk to them again to start sub-quests for sphere activation.


How to activate the spheres:

• Empty Red Sphere
  Buy a Torch (in Mercenaries shop), use it in the backpack to light it (Burning Torch), then use the sphere to activate it.
  
  
• Empty Yellow Sphere
  Talk to Lady Guinevere or Lady Cordelia
  
  
• Empty Green Sphere
  Obtain Arboris Foliage by hunting Arborises [4] , then activate the sphere.
  
  
• Empty Blue Sphere
  Activate the sphere in County Vurdaliya or Virigiya District.
  
  
• Empty Black Sphere
  With a Tubemaker in your backpack, activate the sphere in Clan Burial Grounds / Vassals' Tombs. Tubemaker can be obtained by hunting Zombies [4] or purchased from other players.

After activating all spheres, go to the Cave or Tower of War Mages and choose the Portal to Snowy City option from the location list.

Going through the portal completes this quests and gives you access to the Snowy Games locations.


The Mystery of the Snowy City (one-time quest)
Mahongu (Snowy Dale)

The goal is to simply talk to Vokesa, Kaiyatu, and Tauna.
This quest unlocks all other quests, and doesn't have any other reward.


Strong Harpoon for a Northern Hunter (one-time quest)
Kaiyatu (Hunter's Island)

Talk to Tungur or Stavros the Blacksmith, he will send you to the Elfin Sanctuary. Enter the gorge, then use Enchanted Axe received from the Blacksmith, you will be attacked by a Dark Hunter[4] . After the battle you will get the Siori Log. Take it, along with 2 pieces of Bubbly Metal, to the Blacksmith. Then, take the Hunting Harpoon to Kaiyatu.

Universal Tournament Icicles (one-time quest)
Vokesa (Quiet Island)

First, you wil need to talk to Soygura / Ostap, then to the Mage Khorsungum / Arnabag. You will need to obtain Demonic Blood and Bewitched Parchment. The parchment can be purchased in the Professional Shop in Guild of Artisans. To get the blood, you will need to talk to Demonologist Berrush / I-Vidi. After the dialogue with Demonologist, a demon will immediately attack you, you need to defeat it to get the blood. Return to the Mage, then to Ostap, and finally, to Vokesa.

Tavern Recipe for Fish Soup (one-time quest)

Kill 8 Polar Bears [1] on the Confrontation Island.

Use the Northern Wind Amulet to enter an ice cave. Obtain 5 Sharp Icicles (by collecting Snowdrifts in the hunt mode), and 5 Pigment Dyes (by fighting Snowy Razorclaws [1] ), then return to Vokesa.

Win 3 fights against Guntur the Young Warrior [1] (you will be attacked 3 times in a row).

Talk to Pymen the Monk / Samuel the Cleric. After that, obtain Bunch of Nettles from Herbologist Herbier / Foglio and Hot Pepper from Galash the Merchant / Squire Voldemar. You will also need 1 Crystalline Coal. Return to Uataun.

STAGE III - Snow Games - Recurring quests

Taiga Moss (available every 8 hours)
Uataun (Ice Arena)

Enter the instance by using Path to the Infirmary Amulet and collect 10 pieces of Taiga Moss in the hunt screen. Click "Use" on the collected moss to turn it into a Mossy Bandage. Return to Uataun.

Race Preparation (available every 8 hours)
Inchu (Floating Wharf)

Catch 8 Boards in the hunting screen ( Floating Wharf), then place 3 Beacon Flags in locations Floating Wharf, Ice Arena, and Confrontation Island. Return to Inchu.

STAGE III - Snow Games - Tournaments




Fishing (available every 8 hours)
Tauna (Fisherman's Island)

Catch fish in the hunt mode on the Fisherman's Island.

Gelanf Hunting (available every 8 hours)
Kaiyatu (Hunter's Island)

Use Gelanf Bait 3 times to lure gelanfs. After killing 3 young gelanfs, you might be attacked by Female Gelanf [1] .

Reward: Gelanf Hunting Medal x6-21 (depending on what gelanfs you manage to lure)


Target Practice (available every 8 hours)
Vokesa (Quiet Island)

Throw icicles at the target 3 times.

Reward: Target Practice Medal x3-15 (depending on your accuracy)


Fighting Superiority (available every 8 hours)
Guntur (Confrontation Island)

You will need to join the Confrontation Arena battlefield with 3 other players. Your task is to collect snow in the hunt screen and then shrow it at your opponents. You can have only 1 snowball in your backpack at a time.

If somoene takes 10 hits, they get eliminated (attacked by the Ice Spirit) - the last player standing get the reward. The quest doesn't end for the players who lost and they can queue up again. If there is no winner after 10 minutes the battlefield will end and no one will get the reward. Armour doesn't break on this battlefield.

Reward: Fighting Superiority Medal x25


Single Combat (available every 8 hours)
Uataun (Ice Arena)

Repel the attacks of the Yeti (5 fights).

Reward: Single Combat Medal x9


Canoe Racing (available every 8 hours)
Inchu (Floating Wharf)

Use the Canoe in your backpack to start (you will be able to choose difficulty).

Reward: Canoe Racing Medal (the number of received medals depends on the choosen difficulty level and luck)


Rewards
Once stage III of the event ends, a reward shop will be open. Please note that new rewards are not yet visible in the Library.

Additionally, Clan Leaders will be able to collect a reward from the Elder, depending on the clan's results in the Snow Games: Strength of the North I, Strength of the North II, Strength of the North III, or Strength of the North IV.
