First of all I want to say sorry if that's the wrong thread... just couldn't find one more appropriate...
Wanted to ask this:
Since Game Client is an Internet Explorer-based application, I need to know which version of the IE controls would give me smoother gameplay...?
So far, I've been using IE 7... almost everything is running well. One little debugger window appearing before starting the client, no caption, no info - just Yes and No buttons. Clicking Yes starts the client and No crashes it.
Playing with Flash Player version 10.1; upgrading to 10.2 was a total disaster - for most buttons OnMouseOver function gave a "stay down" result... some of them just wouldn't allow me to click them, had issues with opening different tabs and forum mostly...
and with IE 8 I might have some memory issues as my PC is not one of the best out there... Still, that's not a Client-related issue and I will take care of it myself.
That's why I need to know if it's worthy upgrading to IE 8 + Flash 10.2 ...?
