Locksmith problem?

Hello. After becoming a locksmith at lvl3 I bought 2 bronze chests and opened them with a pick. Is it normal that no experience is added and that there are no marks on my page of profession of this action? For the other profession that i have, there is a mark that tell my what I have done (like for fisherman, it gives me a count of the sort of fishes that I've caught).
I talked to another locksmith about this and he adviced me to come here.
Can you tell me if all is normal or not?

It's completely normal...open a few more chests an you will get a +1 soon enough. Unlike the first and second profession though, there is no count to keep track of your progress as a locksmith.
