This is a picture of Edera. Her infamy originates from when she first started studying under a kind druid who was very wise about forests and magic, but naive in regards Edera's nasty temperament.
She deceived him into thinking she was sweet and eager to follow in his footsteps of taking care of the forest and of nature. Really, her desire was to gain power through whatever means she could. She studied the natural magic that the druid shared with her as well as experimented on her own and became quite corrupt.
By the time the druid realized how perverted her desires were, she had taken over a lot of trees and forest beings and twisted them into her evil servants. Bits of corrupted forest were creeping up to farmers' fields and villages and destroying things.
The druid exiled Edera from his little study group, but she'd already gained a lot of knowledge and power by then. She was fully able to continue on her own as an evil force of nature. Her misuse of natural magic caused her to be bound to the piece of forest she drew power from. Now she is sort of trapped inside her Enchanted Forest and guards it fiercely. When any tree or other being in her forest is killed, she takes it very personally because it actually really hurts her and damages her power source. She continues becoming nastier and more isolated all the time.
Anyone who enters her enchanted forest will be attacked by her warped creatures. If they make it to the heart of the forest, I assume they have to fight her in person. If they kill her, it looks like they get a wreath as a prize and then can change the wreath for qs.
Even though her hair is green and her fingers are pointy like the spikes of mean plants, her beautiful face and the body she barely covers in a little plant bikini-style outfit still attract lots of people to her and allow her to trick them while she tries to kill them.

a powerful and terrible mistres of the enchanted forest who is responsible of the horror and the evil spirits and mobs lurking around it. edera was taught and entrusted with all the secrets and knowledge needed for safeguarding and preserving the forest but instead became power-thirsty. using dark magic, she summoned horrible creatures who vowed to serve her and send terror to mainland and turned the forest into a ghastly place. when her teacher learned about this, he tried to undo things but failed, the druids then put a curse on her that all her life she will be bound inside the forest protecting from hunters and leaving would mean putting herself in danger.
One on the left is Edera,a powerful sorceress who once was a student of a druid, her master was hoping that she would continue doing what he did so he taught her many things, for example he told her the secrets of forest magic and spoke about the rituals that can turn dead trees back to life, after a while,Edera understood the power that lurks in forest and the powers earth contains are just waiting to be awakened. Her master didn't want her to interfere with the nature and told her that time comes for everything but she already made her mind up about conquering the nature.
She deceived her teacher to be able to study prohibited spells, dark magic, mixings with creations of the depths of the forest. Her first creations were Rootwraiths, she gave orders to those against the inhabitants of the mainland.Putting spells on the roots and the shoots, she made the forest border get closer and closer to the farms, ruining corps with weeds and spiky bushes, covering the stone houses with shoots and destroying them...When the druid saw what she is doing with magic,he exiled her but it was a bit late for that since Edera already had the control over the Enchanted Forest and got fed with it's powers and life juices. Her looks have changed, her skin had some tree bark parts and her hair started to look like green thicket.
The great, dark power came with a price in addition of a curse given by the druids: Scourge of Life.As she carried her deeds that devoured her soul, she became an evil and terrible spirit and she had invisible ties with the forest, every tree that died caused a lot of pain for her heart which made it impossible for her to leave the Enchanted Forest since it'd basically kill her.She summoned all the evil creatures to protect the forest from woodcutters. In the first years,so much blood was spilt, the evil spirits killed lost children, careless mushroom gatherers...The warriors wanted to put an end to this,so they formed groups and went in the Enchanted Forest but as soon as they went in there, they felt as if there were shadows running behind, these were Squorgs (the creature on the right in the puzzle) and they kept these warriors going deeper in the forest until they couldn't see the light. There were bushes grew so thick that it was impossible to get through them, the warriors would eventually die of hunger or become the dinner of a predator in the forest...Even the most valiant warriors understood that they should steer clear from the Enchanted Forest, everyone living in the villages around the forest left their homes and ran away...
It's better to be silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt. What's even better is to weaponize your words to destroy anyone who dares challenge you.
Edera. Once, a student of the druid. But was exiled by her teacher, the druit once he found out that Edera delved into the dark side of magic. Since her teacher was unable to stop her, her appearances turned to that of a semblance to a forest spirit. And as she carried out deeds that devoured her soul, she turned into an evil and terrible spirit of the forest.
