-The Crystalline caves take place today and in the player's own level group. If a level 17 player checks the battlefield queue, they will see that only level 17-18 are counted and when they queue up, they will be grouped up and facing against level 17-18 players. However, in Battle in Caves, year 386, it's different. Canonwise it takes place in the past, so no matter the player level, the players ranging from 5 to 20 can see how many players are in queue in total (please note that there is still a level group for this battlefield, but only 1 which is 5-20. In crystalline caves there are level groups for almost every 2 levels like 3-4, 5-6, 7-8...13-14, 17-18, 19-20 and 2 same level groups like 15-15 and 16-16). When they queue up, they will be grouped up with as well as facing against players ranging from level 5 to level 20 on the outside, but everyone is set to level 10 inside the battlefield regardless of their real level.
-The players enter Crystalline caves with their own equipment. Their own items they worked on (with bezels, runes, elements, magic moulds, belts...) and everything they had before joining the battlefield (their mounts, items, blessings etc. in their backpack). But Players enter the Battle in Caves, year 386 with nothing but 3 set choices and 2 set backpacks which they can use to remove the set they are wearing and choose a new one from 3 level 6-10 sets (they are heavyweight, dodger and bonecrusher respectively). After they use one of the sets, they have that set worn and get to choose what elixirs/scrolls they would like to put in their 4 combat slots and use one of the 3 effects they get (They are premium elixirs of destruction, hurricane and rock skin). If the player decides to change the current set they have and use the backpack, their super blow combinations change, their effect gets removed and they get naked again and have the choice of 1 of 3 sets again. Note: the 2 set backpacks renew themselves every monday, if a player used both before sunday and they think they need another one, they will have to buy it from arbiters of fate shop in the city fair.
-The finishing point for Crystalline Caves is 500, but for Battle in caves, year 386 it is 250.
-The maximum number of crystalline caves one can possibly start and finish in a day ranges from 10 to 11 (considering all of the battlefields take 2 hours to finish and they always are in queue as well as the enemy race players). The players can queue up whenever a battlefield is finished and get in once again. But for Battle in Caves, year 386 it depends on how many prayerful calls a player has. If they have 11 pieces, and the conditions I listed above are met, then they can do it 11 times a day, but if they have only 1, they can go only once that day.
-The Crystalline Caves is a real time cave, if a player attacks another one and kills them and win the fight, they will get: Valor, 1 scalp and glory. If they don't, they'll still get valor and glory but no scalp. However, in Battle in Caves, year 386, it doesn't matter if a player kills the enemies 100 times in there. When they get out, they will not receive any scalps or valor other than the valor they get for winning or losing the battlefield. To be able to get more valor, they will have to do the missions of arbiters of fate, to be able to get scalps with that valor, they will have to get fighting missions (for example: killing 12 enemies, killing 10 enemies with dodger equipment etc.).
-The Crystalline Caves battlefield doesn't reward the winning players with a special currency, but Battle in Caves, year 386 does. After winning, according to their levels, players will get Copper, Bronze, Silver or Gold Sacrificial coins which they can use in Arbiters of Fate Shop in City Fair.
-Last but not least, the outcome of Crystalline Cave is not affected by certain items, but Battle in Caves, year 386's is. Players will get more valor, more sacrificial coins and more Arbiters of Fate reputation according to what kind of Mark of the Arbiters of Fate they have. For example, Mark of the Arbiters of Fate IV (Purple) gives 30% more valor, 36 more sacrificial coins and 36 more Arbiters of Fate reputation.
There are more differences between the two battlefields. But these are all I can give.
