dispell fault

twice i have been attacked by kroffodors whilst picking i always have slotted http://warofdragons.com/artifact_info.ph…ct_id=108044630

each time when the kroff puts his spell on me i have clicked on my scrolls and they have not worked... i thought this odd so i removed them and replaced them... again i got attacked by fire kroff again i went to use my scroll and it has not worked... again i died with dmg and a broken warrior belt? is this a fault , i can beat these when i can access my scrolls but why aren't they even working when i click on them, they are in my belt
