GB reps

I got a weird msg during the last demo event.

I went in with NW sword,cussies,Twilight shirt , Cuthroat Pauldrons,Bracers,vest,shield .
I came 8th overall , http://warofdragons.com/fight_info.p...1525914&stat=1.
After i died in the fight i left the fight to do naked FF picking.

The fight ended and i got this wierd msg
06:17 The quality of the armor in which you participated in the Great Battle was lower than required to increase your reputation.

So the question is why i didnt get GB rep ?
Is it because

1) I left the fight
2) When the fight ended i was naked with no armour
3) The Armour for GB requirements is raised.

I didnt chk if my GB rep increased or not , maybe it was just a crappy msg
So if sum1 can clear my questions it will be cool.
