Disappointed with the community
Hello I am new player! Created this account a year ago but started playing a couple of days ago.
When I got back to this game a couple days ago I found out that I really like this game.
The quest and the art was beautiful! So I decided to get the starter set to help me in playing the game and it was really cheap costing 2.45 diamonds.
So as I reached level 3 I decided to do some hunting and I remembered if there is a (!) sign on a monster it means it is an ongoing battle.Knowing this game concept of Human vs Magmar.I believed that brotherhood would be strong in this game.So I decided to help my fellow Human brothers in the fight against a level 5 Bear.Entering the fight there was 1 dead level 5 human and another level 6 human.I assisted the fight used some potions so that I would at least be a small amount of help.
Oh how ignorant I was.Apparently what I did was *looting* or *Stealing them* and they were really angry!
A guy who I presumed was their friend used a mirror Item and severed my soul making me unable to play for 1 hour.This caused my Experience Elixir to be wasted.
They thought I did it intentionally and decided to punish me before asking me or even telling me I did something wrong.
This game is a great game but it is not new player friendly
I hope all veteran players would at least teach new players if they did something wrong instead on punishing them.

Very sorry about what happened, but during this time is very usual enemy race create random new accounts to only loot us in those fights, so they thought you were one of them.
Btw, my personal advice, before entering in any fight ask to the fight participants if they need any help, even the battle seems very disappointing to you

Don't be jelous of others, try to care about yours, only after that you will understand what you really have. P.S. Is very very very hard

dont worry too much, most of these amazing lvl 6's will never reach beyond this level as they are stuck in how the game was 7 years ago.
i'd say just enjoy yourself, a lot of them feel entitled so will get angry no matter what you do (even if you hunt "their" mobs by dying graciously every few minutes)
once you get past these levels, you'll find that there are actually people who are willing to work together as well

Yo thanks man! Will do! I am just wondering is everyone getting the impression that i actually died in the fight? I bought some good elixirs and potion using diamonds during the specific time so I thought i could just tank the damage for the guy by stalling the time and doing minimal damage.I ended up surviving the fight.The Turkish guy who cursed me is now a friend and he is teaching me how to play the game.(even if you hunt "their" mobs by dying graciously every few minutes

nope, i'm saying they are the ones that hunt by falling on their faces every few minutes
also i'm not sure if a naked hunter would be a proper teacher, my preferred choices on human side would more likely go to people such as dzaack/zenofthewind etc to just throw a few names out there.
However, that does not mean of course that this person doesnt know anything at all. just stuck in an old style of play.

You can go to Character>>Personal>>preferences>>Others and make sure your "Do not check hunting monster activity" box its not marked. this way you can avoid future missunderstandings with players. A window will pop-up when you try to attack a monster thats already attacked by someone else.

He knows that. He's saying he joined that fight on purpose since he thought that human need help to kill the bear.
