In general, it doesn't make much difference which pet you choose at the beginning, as up to level 8 all their skills are identical. You can find a general description here - http://warofdragons.com/info/library/ind…?obj=cat&id=105
What interests you most at the moment is how to improve your pet or how to obtain themwithout big costs. Normally pets can be upgraded for golds (green 50g, blue 100g, purple 150g).
1. First of all, you should be interested in the fire monkey pet, which you can get and upgrade to blue by participating in seasonal events.
2. Other non-standard pets are pets associated with lucky events (precious chests, mirrors, etc.) because they can be upgraded with golden horseshoes (each upgrade 1 horseshoe).
3. Few pets you can get pretty easy and cheap by buying pet certificates for talents coins in jesters treasury (city fair). Talent coins you can get by participatin in Jesters events.
