In the world of Faeo there is no break in the confrontation between Humans and Magmars, not even for a single second. So, every fight between two warriors can easily develop into a Great Battle – a huge battle between the nations, that enables fighters of both sides to show their fighting abilities and their bravery.
A battle becomes a Great Battle when there are no less than ten Humans and ten Magmars participating. In a Great Battle you are not allowed to use summons or mounts and the ratio of fighters is shown by a special indicator:
The strength of a team increases with the number of warriors who fight in a team and with the level they have. If one side becomes too strong only warriors from the other side will be able to enter the fight.
Step by step more and more fighters will join the Great Battle. When the number of fighters in a battle reaches one hundred, it will become an Epic Battle and battles with 400 heroes or more are defined as Slaughter.
When you take part in Great Battles you will receive far more Valour than in usual battles with members of the other nation and this bonus will grow with the number of participants. Even when you lose the battle you can receive Valour albeit not as much as those who win the battle. You will also gain Great Battles Reputation .

Great Battles usually take place in the border territories. When there is a Great Battle in the location a special button will appear on your screen. In order to enter the battle you need to click this button. A list of all participants in this Great Battle will appear and you just need to attack one of the warriors of your enemy nation by clicking on the icon next to his name.
You can also enter the Great Battle or just have a look at it by clicking the "Fights" button and selecting "Great Battles".

Strength of the participant: Value of a participant for his team. Strength even counts after the death of a player. It is only derived by the level of a player.
Maximum strength of the team: If the sum of the strength of all warriors in that fight for one side is larger than the maximum size of the team, then no new participants can enter the battle for this side. This number depends on the level of the oldest warrior in the Great Battle.
Maximum superiority of a team: Superiority in strength, because of which you cannot enter the battle on the side of the dominating team.
The maximum strength of the team and the maximum superiority of the team increase when a player of a higher level than all other players who are participating enters the battle.
This means, if you want to enter the Great Battle the sum of warriors of your race must not be larger than the maximum strength of your team and the superiority of your team has to be less than the maximum superiority of your team.
