In Mystras, attributes of monsters and the monetary rewards adjust according to the player's level.
Hunting in Mystras will not give you experience points, but you can occasionally receive expreience essences for fighting monsters.
Regular luck effects do not have effect in Mystras. However, there are other ways of increasing the monetary reward:
While hunting monsters, you will also receive valuable Datkhar. For every monster kill, you will get 1 Speck of Datkhar (2 if you use Strong Alva Sherbet). The specks will not be visible in your backpack, but you can check their number in the Attributes tab.
200 Specks of Datkhar will be transformed into Inspiration of Datkhar, less often into Influence of Datkhar, and rarely into Influx of Datkhar. There is also a small chance of a transformation occuring at any time. The number of specks required for transformation can be decreased by learning Mystras Faith skill.
There is also a chance that instead of just a speck, you will receive Inspiration of Datkhar, and if your luck is extremely high, you might receive an even larger amount of Datkhar. The probabilities can be increased by learning the Mystras Luck or Mystras Generosity skills.
As a reward for influence in the lands of the Genies, you can receive the Treatise on Locating Resources. This will allow you to receive valuable quest items when hunting in Mystras. Please note that the items you can receive depend on your level.
The monsters of Mystras have special abilities that make fighting them a challenge, even for the bravest of warriors. In addition to the abilities listed in the tables below, each monster also uses Shackles of Powerlessness.

Sand Screen
At the start of the battle, the Genie surrounds himself with a veil of sand, absorbing 150 to 2000 damage (depending on the opponent's level).
Once the shield is breached, the Genie will be receiving only critical damage for 5 turns, and the strength of his own attacks will be weakened by 50%.

Every turn, there is a 70% chance that the carnivorous flower will scatter its poisonous seeds. Each of these seeds, if it falls on an opponent, will inflict damage equal to 1% of the maximum health level every 3 seconds.

Fresh Growth
After the monster's life level falls below 50%, there is a 70% chance of fresh growth beginning to heal the damage previously inflicted on the flower, every turn, restoring 1% of maximum health every 5 seconds.
