Beauty reigns everywhere in the blessed lands of Mystras, and its highest expression is Almandra! At least, this is the unshakable belief held by the mandragora herself. That is why she is committed to guiding and supporting warriors who are willing to risk their lives for the sake of beauty and the honour of the mandragoras.

 

 

The Guardians of Beauty should be prepared not only for the worthy rewards, but also for Almandra's unpredictable moods. She has little patience for arrogance or the dullness of Old Fattar, so those favoured by the mushroom sheikh will find no welcome among the Guardians.

A variety of tasks awaits you, but keep in mind that Almandra can be capricious - some days, she may withhold assignments just because she feels like it.

Attention! Completing tasks will increase your Guardians of Beauty reputations, but decrease your reputation of the Seekers of Wisdom.

 

 

For the glory of beauty

 

Your mission is to find a remedy to restore Almandra's fading beauty. This quest is not easy and in addition to valuable resources:

it might also require dabbling in magic or other dark dealings, but the rewards will be worthwile, including Almandra's favour and access to reputation tasks.

Rewards: Case with Ephemeral Deck of Cards, Random Incarnation Potion, 100 Guardians of Beauty reputation points, access to regular tasks.
During the quest there is a chance to receive various items, including potions and Platinum Thalers.

Completing the quest will reduce your Seekers of Wisdom reputation by 10 points.

 

 

regular assignments

 

Once you complete the "For the Glory of Beauty" quest, you will gain access to Almandra's regular tasks. The tasks are available every 3 days.

Standard tasks will give you 50 reputation points (and decrease your Seekers of Wisdom reputation by 10 points). Occasionally, Almandra may request you to care for her sprout over three days. Successfully completing this task will earn you 70 reputation points, in case of failure - 20 reputation points. There is also a chance you will receive a tak of bringing some fertiliser for Almandra's sprouts, this task will give you 100 reputation points. Almandra will gladly accept the following resources as fertiliser:

 

 

However, Almandra has her off days, when she's simply not in the modd to give out tasks. If you happen to visit her on one of these days, not only will she not give you a task - she will rush at you with her fists! Still, Almandra will not leave you completely empty-handed: after the fight, you will receive Inspiration of Datkhar.

 

 

Once you reach 500 reputation, Almandra will share with you her remarkable stories through the series of "Conversations about higher things". You will be treated to captivating tales, but stay attentive: the mandragora will certainly test how well you listened. Depending on your responses, you can earn between 20 and 50 reputation points for each conversation.

 

Triumphant march of beauty

 

Warriors who prove their loyalty to the Guardians of Beauty and receive Medal of Honor gain access to the task "Triumphant March of Beauty". Completing it rewards them with the Medal of Worship. During this task, you may face important choices, and the weight of responsibility for each decision will rest solely on your shoulders!

Almandra may be capricious, but she knows how to show gratitude! She especially favours those who prove their dedication through actions rather than words. To reward your assistance, the mandragora will assign her young followers to help you navigate the Labyrinth. These nimble sprouts can slip into places even the strongest warriors can't reach! The Mandrake Squad will complete the Labyrinth on your behalf, bringing back about 30% of the rewards typically earned.

 

 

Once the Squad gains enough experience, you'll be able to train them to advance to the next level. Be prepared with resources, as these young roots need plenty of energy for their training!

Shards of the most beautiful stone collected together and mounted into a precious frame will result in a rare artifact that will give you a certain number of rubies every week.

 

 

 

 

Almandra, ever in love with beauty, possesses only the most exquisite jewellery. Beyond their appearance, these pieces are enchanted by wise djinn, skilled in spellcraft. The jewellery increases your attributes in the land of the Genies.

Although it looks like an ordinary piece of fabric, Magic Velvet of the Genies was created specifically for refining gemstones. Attributes of jewellery treated with this fabric are enhanced.
