The winter wind plays with the drifting snow, viciously whipping the banners and trying to creep into the gaps of armor. The best way to keep warm during this season is to rush into the flames of battle. Especially now, as the Winter Marathon begins, and your deeds will be generously rewarded! The Winter marathon is here for the next 14 days!
Over the next 14 days, an assortment of tasks await you, the completion for which will bring you a special currency - Winter Season Marathon Coin! Collect as many of these coins as possible and hurry to the City Fairgrounds, where you can exchange them for a range of valuable goods!
Personal tasks include a variety of activities:
The Winter Marathon has moved to the Battle Pass section, and now everyone can track their personal progress! Also, your rewards will no longer depend on the server completing tasks but on your own personal achievements!
To obtain Winter Marathon Gold Pass and unlock access to rewards, you must complete one task from each category and earn the special achievement Winter Marathon: Beginning!
đź’ Rewards for participation:
🔹 Each achievement grants 10 Winter Season Marathon Coin.
🔹 For every 10 achievements, you receive a Marathon Chest.
🔹 If you complete the Battle Pass early and then finish the remaining marathon tasks, you will receive an additional Overflow Winter Season Marathon Chest.
🔹 Winter Marathon Premium Pass will double your marathon rewards!
🔹 The Winter Marathon Reward Shop opens immediately after the marathon ends and remains available for 7 days!
Please note: Superbeings from the Abode of Eternal Ice do not contribute towards the marathon!
From the start and until the end of the marathon, players from level 5 to 20 will be able to participate in Meridian Vaults. Players will compete against others within their own level group. Players between level 5-15 will receive a random set of equipment on the battlefield. Normal rules will apply to players of level 16+ and above.
Please note: The participation cost for Meridian Vaults has been changed!
3  for level 16-20 players.
1 50  for level 11-15 players.
75 for level 5-10 players.
Please note: injuries will be automatically healed after combat on the battle server.
Please note: personal tasks can be completed until 13:00 on 04.03.

| Can we make wolfer's count for superbeing killings ONLY for levels 3-5? Whenever there is an event for superbeings, mages rush for wolfers for 30 second killings and make it impossible for lower levels to farm it, which is literally the only relaible source for lower levels |

"This is a fine and well balanced event, it's fair towards hardcore 24/7 players as well as casual ones."
Doing 50 monster, gather 50 times, doing 1 superbeing, 1 BF, 1 activity is balanced.
do AT LEAST 250 monsters x day, 200 gathers x day is not balance.
And 30 superbeing, for most of us is not a problem, we have 50+ istance scroll and decks :))) but for other players?
mages start to steal wolfer and cerberus too, how can you say is balanced for both types of players? ____ the normal battlepass encourage you to play and stay active, this one force you to play all day, is not balance... |

| Burning_Frog, i get what you say and is true, commitment in this game is already rewarded, and that’s how it should be. If you hunt and gather 24/7, you have more money than others and therefore more room to maneuver; it has always been like this. But telling me that it is balanced, and specifically that this event is balanced, is a big fat lie, and you all know it.___
The mere difference in armor sets allows you to kill these 250 monsters in 2 hours or in 4 (even less if you are a good mage). Just from this alone, it is no longer a matter of CHOICE but of POSSIBILITY, and by definition, it cannot be balanced.____
I understand that the goal is to make these events more challenging and interesting for some players, but for everyone else, it just becomes frustrating. In past marathons, I never complained, and many times I wasn’t able to complete certain challenge--but I didn’t really care.

However, seeing that they keep raising the bar of "difficulty" or "commitment" is honestly infuriating, and the issue with Mystras resources doesn’t help at all.

To avoid just complaining and actually give something constructive, here’s an idea--even if it might sound stupid… just like you can gather gray-tier resources and they still count towards gathering... or kill Hacirde and count on Superbeing objectives... Why can’t I attack a level 1 monster and have it count as a defeated enemy? |

| @46: You get that EVERY superbeing counts? Even at my level, you can do Superbeing VI just on the first day. Not even considering Cerberus/Wolfer, and I bet on later stages, when mages are gone, with those you might even finish this category without using scrolls or Kodrag amulet to reset instances, which is also an option. I agree that they could have let the bosses from Abode count now that they raised it from 10 to 30. Still doable. As is everything else, and with "well balanced" for both kind of players - and those in between - I mean: those who invest more time may reach higher tasks, those who don't can still go far. (For example, I don't want to hunt or collect too much, I aim to finish task V of every category and then push 5 more superbeing and/or collecting task to get 30 task reward chest). You can't expect them giving away the maximum reward possible for free. It's fair cause each gets what they invest. |
