Heralds are a team
dedicated to collecting, organising, and sharing knowledge
throughout the world of Faeo.
Recognisable by their megaphone emblem, Heralds serve as a bridge between information
and the community. Their goal is to ensure that useful knowledge, discoveries, and important events within the game
are clearly documented and accessible to all players.
To achieve this, Heralds contribute in several areas:
Library
Maintenance
Heralds maintain
and update the game library, keeping guides, mechanics and other
important information accurate, organised, and easy to navigate.
Guides and
Articles
They create and maintain guides that help players better understand the many features, activities, and systems
within Faeo.
Clan War
Reports
Heralds also
document and report on Clan Wars, highlighting battles, strategies, and
the achievements of participating clans.
Through these activities, the Heralds help ensure that valuable knowledge is preserved
and shared with the entire community.
Interested in joining the Heralds? We're always happy to welcome players who enjoy sharing knowledge and helping others. Good English or German, solid knowledge of the game and its many info sites, or some HTML skills are all useful - but curiosity and a willingness to learn matter just as much. If this sounds like something you'd enjoy, we'd love to hear from you.
Using the library
The Infoportal contains many guides and articles written and maintained by the Heralds. You can find them both in the Library and in the Game Guide sections:

Looking for something specific? Use the library search bar to quickly find articles related to a particular topic, item, or activity.

Most Herald articles include a "last updated" date at the bottom. This helps you see whether the information is recent and lets you know when an article has been updated with new content or corrections.

Herald Guides on the Forum
If you are looking for a specific guide, the Forum search bar is often the fastest way to find it. Try searching for the keywords you are interested in.

Guides written by the Heralds can usually be recognised by the Herald banner displayed at the top of the article (CrackerJacks banner in older guides).

When a guide is updated, the Forum automatically adds a "Last edited" note to the post. New Forum posts also have a date of publishing at the top. This allows you to quickly see when the guide was last revised.
